Kindermusik Village is for lap babies, crawlers and walkers accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Kindermusik Village provides the natural learning your child is ready for from the first days of life. With you at the center of your baby’s discovery, Village engages all of her senses and rewards her curiosity with object and instrument exploration, vocal play, singing, creative movement, and a colorful literature component. Multi-level activities encourage you to make creative choices as she grows from a lap baby to a crawler to a walker.

You'll have a wonderful time in Kindermusik Village classes, and you'll be surprised by how much you can learn while having so much fun. Throughout your classroom experience, you'll learn how activities aid in your baby's development. Specially commissioned art in beautiful books for your baby will aid in visual tracking, shape and color recognition, and language development. They'll bring your Village experience home and will become a favorite addition to your child's bookshelf for years to come.

Bringing Out the Song in Every Young Child.

Our Time is designed for children 1½ years to 3 years of age. Along with an accompanying parent or caregiver, children meet weekly for a 45-minute class and enjoy singing, moving, listening, interacting socially, and playing simple instruments. Exploration Time encourages a child’s discovery of specially designed instruments, textures, sounds and movements; language skills are fostered with singing, sound imitation and vocal play; Music & Movement Story Time encourages emergent literacy skills; and creative dancing affirms a child’s urge to move. Kindermusik Our Time uses music to encourage early creativity and learning in children 18 months to 3 years. Music is the means of Kindermusik, not the goal. The goal is a more alive, creative, and able child.

• Each class meets once a week for 45 minutes and includes a 15 minute parent sharing time(siblings allowed)

• There are two 16 week semesters and one 5 week summer camp per year

• Make-up classes available

Somewhere between 3 and 4 years of age, something happens to your child.

Kindermusik Imagine That! is designed for active, energetic, enthusiastic and imaginative 3- and 4-year-olds and encourages socialization, sharing, and participating in group activities. Singing becomes a focus for enhancing the preschooler’s vocal development as her expressive language is just beginning to emerge. Pretend play activities are integrated with music, vocal development, storytelling, movement and literature to capture your child’s immense potential to learn and to encourage her creativity and individuality. Parents are invited to participate in the last 15 minutes for Sharing Time.

Between the ages of 2 and 7 years, your child will pass through several distinct learning phases. At each stage along the way, the Kindermusik series uses a developmentally appropriate curriculum to promote language skills, symbolic thinking, coordination, social interaction and to awaken your child's imagination. And when class is over, your child goes home with materials to keep the Kindermusik experience alive all week. Imagine That! is the third in the four-stage Kindermusik curriculum that complements your child's own stages of learning. The first stage is the Kindermusik Village program which celebrates the development of children birth to 18 months. Kindermusik Our Time is the second program which enriches children 18 months to 3 years. Kindermusik Imagine That is for children ages 3 to 4 years. The final stage Kindermusik for the Young Child guides the development of children 4 through 7.

Dramatic play is a key aspect of Imagine that! both in class and in the home activities. In Imagine that! pretend play activities are strategically integrated with music, vocal development, storytelling, listening, and movement. Imagine that allows children to draw on their own life experiences to build upon their own learning. • This is a potential 2 year curriculum broken down into four 16 week semesters.

• The Young Child Class can also register for a 5 session summer Kindermusik adventure camp.

Young Child helps every child develop a confident, joyful voice for singing and speaking as well as essential building blocks for a future of learning. Designed for children ages 4 ½ through 7 years, classes meet once a week for 60-75 minutes. Year I is for children, ages 4-5 and Year II for children ages 6-7. Students explore many facets of the musical experience speaking, singing, moving, dancing, listening, creating and playing instruments, as well as learning about reading and writing music. As the capstone to the child’s Kindermusik journey, Young Child broadens and deepens the child’s introduction to the fulfillment and excitement of musicianship.

Kindermusik for the Young Child is the final part of the four stage Kindermusik curriculum. Since each age and stage provides unique learning opportunities, enrollment in Kindermusik for the Young Child doesn't require prior Kindermusik experience. The first Kindermusik curriculum stimulates the lives of babies birth to 18 months of age. The second Kindermusik series enriches the lives of children 18 months to 3 years of age. The third Kindermusik program is for children 3 1/2 to 5 years. Kindermusik for the Young Child broadens and deepens the music experience for children ages 4 through 7. Meeting each week, up to 10 children explore many facets of the musical experience - speaking, singing, moving, listening, creating, playing percussion instruments and learning about writing and reading music notation. The objective of Kindermusik for the Young Child isn't necessarily to make your child a musician. Instead, Kindermusik begins the musical learning that will enrich your  child's life.
