Our Staff
Lauren Marone ∙ Director
Lauren Marone has been involved with music her entire life. The
daughter of a professional jazz musician and music teacher,
Lauren began her music career at the age of 16. Professionally,
Lauren has sung with jazz bands and by 21 was doing "way
off-Broadway" musical theater. As a music education major at
West Chester University, Lauren studied voice and piano and now
has over twenty years experience in private music instruction
and children’s choir directing. Lauren’s association with
Kindermusik began in 1990, where she received certification
after taking course work at Princeton University and has been
recognized by Kindermusik International as a "Maestro
Educator". Lauren loves the variety of teaching Kindermusik,
Group Piano and Music for Little Mozarts at Kids & Music. She
loves to work with children of all age groups and has a true
passion for teaching. Lauren and her husband enjoy sharing the
gift of music with their three children and with others.
Hope Parker
∙
Piano & Kindermusik Instructor
 Hope's
love of music and children are two of her greatest passions, so
she considers her role at Kids & Music as an ideal marriage of
the two. Having received both vocal and piano training
throughout her life, she is an ardent lover of the musical arts
and strives to instill this desire within her students. Hope has
been teaching little ones in preschool and ministry settings for
over 10 years, and has directed numerous musicals and children's
programs. Having done so, she is constantly amazed at their
capacity for learning and retaining musical concepts. A
Washington transplant having recently relocated from Florida ,
Hope also serves as the Director of Children's Ministry with her
church. Hope and her husband have two wonderful children, 9 and
11.
